Being vegan can be one of the best decisions you make for your health!
About the Community
LMSTA is located in the city of Lennox, where culture and diversity thrive. Traditional food in our community is important as it recognizes the significance of the need for family, connectedness, and overall is a part of our cultural identity. For this year’s project, we took it upon ourselves to take some of our favorite Latin American dishes and turn them vegan/vegetarian. We want to be a resource, to all families, that provides recipes that are easy, healthy, and contribute to our fight against climate change by eliminating the consumption of animal products. We hope that these recipes will inspire and show others that you can be traditional while being environmentally friendly as well!
